So the ICG (International Costumers' Guild) has a few webzines out there, and one of them is put together by my good friend Phillip Gust. He'd like me to pass this along.
The May 2013 issue of "The Virtual Costumer" magazine (www.siwcostumers.com/vc) is all about "Furry Costuming." We're looking for all kinds of articles, including creating a fursuit or head; sources of materials; developing a character, personality, and name; participating in a masquerade or parade; Furry literature and culture; and just about any aspect of Furry fandom. Articles can run from 1500 to 3500 words plus photos. The submission deadline is April 29th, 2013, but earlier is better. It's OK to submit something you've already written. If you plan to write an article, please contact me as soon as possible at vc@siwcostumers.org.
I'm planning on submitting an article or two (if I can find the time to type them up), one about costuming specifically and one about the fandom in general.
I'm hoping someone else in this wonderful community would be up for writing an article for submission as well. Pretty much any topic is acceptable (well, keep it PG-13 and under, 'kay?). Phillip's very nice, and if you get the article to him with plenty of time, he'll go over editting options and design with you so the article looks the best it can.
