Hey guys! I'm a new fursuiter and I have a few questions.

How much foam would you need for a partial, as in, for the head and feet (if I were to use shoes and only foam the toes?) Also, I read on a tutorial that it's great to mix 3 inch foam with 1 inch foam, but how much of each would I need, and where would be the cheapest source to buy this from online? C:

Also, for my first suit, I plan on making a blue merle australian shepherd; realistic, with either resin or bouncy ball eyes with vision out of the tear ducts. I read that paint cracks very easily on bouncy balls, is there any way this could be countered, such as putting a few layers of resin or foam on the back once the paint has dried?

Also, I bought a nose from van dyke's a long time ago, and want my aussie's nose to be pink with black freckles; the nose I bought, however, is pure black. Can I just grab some pink acrylic paint and go to town, or is there any way I can put clear nail polish over the dried paint to ensure it won't ship if it ever bumps into something?
