furring feet

not sure if this has been answered BUT .... I've got some foam feet paws that have been sitting around forever, and I've been meaning to fur them but have been putting it off because last time I tried it was a disaster. I -did- use tape for a pattern, and not sure if it was because I didn't use darts or what, but the fur didn't really seem to go on there very well.

I'd also like to maybe cover them with fleece this time, because I think I'd like to make them to match a kigu I plan on doing very soon. Any suggestions on how to go about this task? Should I do things any differently because I want to do fleece instead of fur?

My biggest problem area was the toes -- should I fur each toe individually or? Halp!?
