A little help?

I recently got posted to bad fur after my friend and I took some photos of my fursuit.

Now, it didn't bother me at first but then the comments got a tad harsh (I felt) one of them along the lines of:
"What's up with that hair? That's one of the greasiest looking emo-suits I've ever seen."


So I'm wondering how I can improve my head, the muzzle being the main thing according to the bad fur post.



Now I'm not against critique, I welcome it, but just taking the piss out of something and not offering helpful advice is a bit :/

I am able to make a new headbase and am wondering if that'd be a better idea since this one is already furred.
