I've finally started working on the plans for my mate's fullsuit that'll hopefully be done in time for FWA. The bodysuit is cut out, but I've hit a snag in designing the head.
His fursona is a rather humanoid otter and he really wants that to reflect in her face. I'm constantly having to correct myself when I draw her to make sure her muzzle is short enough (since I personally prefer my otters with big ol' honkin' muzzles). How on Earth can this translate into a head?
This is my current idea:
The fur we're using is EXTREMELY short pile, so bulk from it shouldn't be an issue at all and I'm going to pick up some half inch foam to hopefully keep the base from becoming too bulky either.
What I'm having trouble visualizing is where to foam to make the face looks like it all goes together, but without becoming too toony or animalistic. D: Any help would be super appreciated!
