Head Foamwork Critique and Eye Installment Advice Needed - Image heavy

I'll keep this real short and use bullet points cause not many like reading (me included).

References I don't really have much for references. I have been following the following two images and then my own intuition. The second one is really only being used for colors and markings.

Problem I am looking for some input on how my eyes look (and how to achieve them to look more like the first reference image) and also the general foam work, especially the eyebrows for they are giving me some grief.

     - How should I go about securing the eye in. Would hot glue and such work for the backing?
     - Anyone know of a better way to place eyelids around the eye?
     - Any advice on how to tackle the part where the buckram meets the actual eye (to make it look more fluid)
     - Do the eyebrows need more definition to them?

What I have done So, simply put, I glued in the buckram and then just placed in the eye and filled in the rest around it. It is mostly temporary due to  the buckram being the only thing glued in. The black eyelids are pleather that was glued together.

Considerations:I am  considering just hot gluing all the stuff in around the eye and just hoping that the fur will cover any of the raw edges and such. I was pondering the idea of taking the eye out and then using some 2 part epoxy sculpt to create the lids and such.

I am aware that the iris is crooked looking in the second pic. Also in case anyone was wondering this is my first head and boy did I set the bar high...
