I'm working on the ideas I need for my 2nd suit that I am working on. On it, I need to create (longer than anatomically correct) iguana spines. I need for them to be stiff enough to not break after a beating and to stand up a bit (to not lay flat against the costume). However, I need them to be limp enough so that they slightly curve and don't stick straight up (if I were to use wooden dowel rod for example.)
My reserve plan was to use dowel rod, but does anyone have any cheaper ideas?
