This is what he looks like finished! I finally found a way to make the curved neck with less foam. Something I just randomly thought of at the last minute last night.
One thing is wrong with his neck. As you can see, the right side just won't lie down right and I cut the cape in the back too short and now there's a nice hefty gap where the fur should be resting against my back! Grrr! I'm having trouble following my patterns and getting them to come out even.
Any advice on what I can do to make that side act just like the other and not show foam? Should I add more fur and if so, how can I hide the add-on? At least add fur or do something about the head sitting up off of my back. It's just not acting quite right. I do know, though that the right side has excess fur and that's why it won't lie flat.
I'm so tired of working with this fur because it shows all of my craftsmanship mistakes and it's hard to fix mistakes I make too. So ready to sell him and get money to get the good stuff that doesn't show gluing mistakes.
What can I do to get rid of the bunched up fur so it lies flat and cover everything, still?
