I fixed my jaw problem. This community is...I can't even find words on how useful it is to novice builders like myself. Despite my tendency to freak at the littlest things thus far in my fursuit building experience, responses are calm, eased, and assuring because of experience of such issues and I appreciate that. Also, it's nothing that can't be solved by another person that I can easily put my hands to. :P
Now, onto my baby kita-kita, Callix. Moving jaw, hallowed out nostrils, follow-me-eyes with a slight lazy-eye. He's a poor baby because of that, but we can relate. I has one lazy eye as well. Anywho, he's fuzzy and warm and he needs to get a curved neck and handpaws/arm sleeves as well as a fuzzy tail.
With the curved neck I plan to make a compartment to put larger cooling packs into. Any advice on width and length I should generalize the pocket with as well as a liner material that is waterpoof, but breathable so the cool temperature and surface can penetrate and actually keep the suiter cool?
On that note, how thick should the foam that will be directly against the neck be? 1/4 of an inch before the pocket? More? Less? I want to do this, but whew-doggeh, I have no idea where to start and I kinda want a rough estimate before I go hacking away with foam and what-not.
