I'm having epic trouble with a hand pattern. I'm trying to make these fingers a little more toony without adding foam. When I sewed up the fingers for this pattern I couldn't turn the fingers out easily. When I finally got the fingers turned out (except for one finger I had to cut the seam up the side so I could at least try it on) the fur on the fingers were crimped almost beyond use anyway. I had to use a stick thing to push the fingers out after I sewed them up.
I figure I can fix that by not stuffing the puffy paws (think matrices tutorial for puffy paws she just did) by not stuffing them until I turn them out, but that doesn't fix the fact they are too tight. This picture I'm posting has 3 lines, the inner black line of the original finger trace, the seam allowance is the second black line around the finger and the outside bulbs to make them puffy. The blue sharpie is where they pattern is specifically too tight on me. I didn't even trace my own hand! I traced darling boyfriend's big man hands. I hand stitch everything.
Need some redlines/advice on what to do. And yes, I have tried the print-out Matrices pattern but it was waaayyyy too small for big man hands. The person I'm making them for does't want 4 finger paws.
