For christmas I am making a friend of mine a new fursuit head on the new resin base that I have just cut and hinged.
It is just a very general canine, I would build up the maw and cheekbones a bit more with foam before furring.
I will be using resin eyes for this mask though her character is fiarly feminine. I found some of those eyelashes for doll making (yeah that creepy isle in the art store. XD) and I got an idea to use those. They aren't very long but are thick and have a rubbery feel to them. The lashes are probably only about a half inch long.
I would be setting these under epoxy sculpt so once these babies are in they are not coming out.
I've seen Dream Vision Creations use eyelashes on their blanks but I have never seen them furred.
What do you guys think? Will it look cheap? Too much? Or is this a realistic possibility?
Any input at all is greatly appreciated.
