fur hunt and tail question

First question! I've been looking EVERYWHERE for mint fur (I need a yard maybe two since a friend of mine is looking for a yard as well) and while fursuit supplies is doing a run there are two problems.

One, the preorder is sold out. Two, it's in production to be finished 3-4 months from now, and if at all possible I need the material sooner than that. I have inquired from two places for swatches of the closest thing to mint I could find and....eh. Not very minty. I got one swatch that was just a slightly greener aqua, and I have yet to get my second swatch but not placing too much stock in it.

I'm really itching to get the stuff fursuit supplies did (or something very similar) If anyone knows where I can find something like that, or has some to sell (for a price that is reasonable I can't do like $65 a yard or anything crazy like that) please let me know it would be so helpful.

Also. I cannot find crux tail tutorials ANYWHERE. I really need one. Or even some process pics. I need to make a tail similar in size, shape and whatnot to a crux not exactly, but they're the closest to what I envision for the tail, and I have had zero luck getting any insight into that area of construction.

Any help there would be super appreciated also!
