Need Help Finding Fur and Form Fitting?

Hi there, long time no see. I am under a different account, but I've used the community before to help me make two suites. This is my fourth suit and I am having trouble because I want to get everything just right. Reference pics under cut-

I am wanting her to be not extremely form fitting, but as form fitting as Sparky-Saber. I am aware sometimes this requires NTF stretchy fur, but it's a bit out of my price range and I'm not entirely sure that's the fur she is using. I have ordered a sample of dark brown fur from fabric.com to see if it will fit, but I cannot find that perfect brown-gray color anywhere...

Any tips on what kind of fur I need? Or how to find the right color?

Also, for her markings, has anyone been able to make brown lighter with some kind of fabric chalk? I just think the marks are too small to sew each one in (Like use the gray fabric for the back markings too).


Additional information: She will be plantigrade full body suit with puffy paws and movable jaw.
