DVC foam bases? weight? experiences?

Hello all! Long time no see! It's been years!!

After making quite a few suits for cosplay and other people, I think that this is the summer where I create my own personal suit finally! I have only ever made foam heads before and I have been researching the whole foam vs. resin debate.

I think that I would prefer the durability and soft comfort, and I have decided to go with foam. Now the question comes to this: Should I make my own upholstery foam base or should I go with a DVC expanding foam base? https://dreamvision-creations.myshopify.com/products/foam-fox-head

I would like to say that I think I have enough experience in foam heads now, but these are my requirements, and I am unsure which would fit better.

-If I could save money that would be great, but for this suit I do care about high quality, and from what I've seen even the first time suit makers using a DVC base can make something fantastic!
-I am very insistent on a moving jaw, so would a foam DVC base work better for this?
-Is this a kind of thing that's better to leave to the professional maker?
-Is expanding foam "stiffer" than upholstery?
-I want the suit to be very realistic, so I think eyes, teeth, taxidermy tongue, etc, will add weight. Can upholstery foam support the weight? can expanding foam do it better?
-Can a spring hinge mechanism be put in a foam base? I know elastic wears down.....
-Can either or neither be used with glasses? I am a glasses wearer ;^;
-Can a fan be put in either? I have tried a fan in a foam base and it weighed it down too much..

Is there another better fursuit foam I can use that's fairly stiff for a good moving jaw and holding heavier parts? (fan, nose, eyes, etc) instead of green upholstery foam?
