Help with gryphon head

I bought a DramVision large predator bird resin mask. I understand how to hinge it an everything, but how do I foam it for furring? Where do I add the ears to make a gryphon? I am having a hard time finding a tutorial for the actual foaming of the head, just some having to do with furring or preparing it to foam. Help!
