Hello everyone! I am semi-new to fursuit making I've had experience with making suits before but I've never made anything more than a partial and I am making a fursuit for my husband in the summer. I want to do a half suit because he likes that style and I honestly would love the experience.

the only problem I ran into is the furring part, how would you fur this? Do you tape around it, make your pattern, sew it and then glue it directly on the pants itself and foam or would you just sew it to the pants or what happens?
I also plan to sew maybe a zipper to the suit and pants itself? I'm not sure how to go about this. Any advice would be absolutely wonderful and helpful. Thanks!
