Quick question! I've got a set of horns for a character that need to be colored metallic gunmetal gray. However, the only paint I seem to be able to find is meant for car parts. Would this work?
I'm trying to avoid hand painting, as the character's horns are very sleek and I don't want brush strokes showing. Otherwise I'd just mix silver and black acrylics :P I also am not under the ownership of an airbrush, and don't plan to be any time soon.
The horns are made of paper mache' and then hardened with wood filler and sanded smooth. I'm just not sure that car paint is going to stick to wood filler if it's meant for metals. It does say it will adhere to plastics, but let's be honest. I have no idea what the heck wood filler is made of.
