I guess this isn't really a fursuit making question, but we all need a craft room so..
My family and I have recently been finishing my Craft Room in our basement, and its time to decide what features it should have. I mainly use the room, but since its being finished, the whole family wants to move in now. (Much to my displeasure.) I keep trying to tell them that fursuiting isn't a normal craft so it therefore would take a different craft room. My Mom wants to add all kinds of kitchen cabins and marble counter tops to the room (So basically scrapbook stuff), and I keep telling her that that wont work. In my opinion, all I need is a desk and a few shelves to keep my stuff, because it just doesn't make sense to me to have counter tops and cabins. I just want to reach for things, not have to stop what I'm doing, and go root for things in cabins. I really don't think they understand what it takes to build a suit, and how messy it is. So as a last resort to make them understand what It takes, I'm asking what you guys think. Do you have cabins and counter tops in your room? Are they really a bad idea or is it just me? What does your room consist of? Would any of you mind providing pictures of your set up?
