Quick question about when to glue on the nose

I have a sculpy nose for my mesh-and-foam fursuit head. I'm going to hotglue a bent pin to the back and use that to sew it to my muzzle to help secure it until the E7000 dries...but would you attach it before or after furring?  I could see advantages of both ways so I'm kind of torn.

Any advice?
