Hey all.
I suppose you could call the black outlines "eyelids" but I want to go around the entire eye to hide the edges of the white craft foam I used for my 3D eyes. I think it'll help give the head a more finished and cleaner look, too.
Do any of you have tips on how to go about it? I have my 3D eyes all glued in already, and was thinking of using fleece as the material since it would go well with fur.
I'm just not sure on how to actually go about the process of actually applying the fleece eyelids around the eyes without ruining my fursuit head, so I thought I'd ask the community for some insight! There could be issues with fraying (I guess I could sew the visible edges of the fleece together?) and hot glue... ahhh!
It's also good to note that I have tried to use black foamies as eyelids, but I don't really like the look of it and I just can't get the inside edges of the foamies cut clean enough! I personally found it to be really frustrating and ended up wasting a good bit of the craft foam that I had.
Here are pictures of what my head currently looks like:

If you look closely at all of these fursuiter's eyes, you'll notice that they have a black "outline" around their eyes:

Sort of what I'm going for - I'll just use Phoenix Nest's suits as an example!
If anyone needs clarification, I'll be happy to do so! Thanks so much for reading!
