Okay, so I've been digging around trying to find out what works best under a suit. I've found more recent posts regarding to this but it seems all the links for the diveskin everyone recommends is broken. SO, I did some digging on the same site and I think I found the right one, but I want to be sure before I order!

Right now I've just been using some cotton/spandex leggings and a tank which works okay, but even being in my own house it feels pretty toasty. (My house runs cold (60-65deg), especially being winter in MI). Plus I sweat a fair amount and I fear those would be soaked at my first outing. I've read where a lot of people recommend these diveskins and thought it might be an idea to try. Though I guess my other concern would be the sizing. I'm 5'5" about 165lbs, the sizing chart recommends a LG for 150-175lbs but height in that range is 5'9"-6'2". My main concern is my calves and I don't want it to be too tall, but obviously want it to fit comfortably. Does anyone have any experience or advice about sizing?
And on a different note. I'm getting ready to fur a balaclava based head. I'm guessing I don't tape the neck/too low on the head so a person could actually get it on their head right? Just sew a neck on based on measurements? I have no problems doing that, just checking what others do. I want to still be able to get the head on after furring.
