Airbrushing without an airbrush machine??

Hello everyone! I had a quick question for you..

Is there a way to airbrush a suit without an airbrush machine? If so.. how? I want to make a Wolf Link head in a semi-realistic style and it would be the only time I would want to airbrush so I dont want to buy a machine for just one project.
