Since I need six eyes for the head I'm making and eyes with LEDs cast into them are way too expensive with the number I need, I glued LEDs to the backs of acrylic blanks.
Now that I'm looking at picture of LED eyes, it looks like people usually attach them after soldering wires/resistors to the LEDs.... which I failed to do. Would I be able to still solder the wires to the LED leads (which are at full length and extend an inch or so from the eye and paper eye art) without burning/melting the paper and acrylic? If not, what do I do now, since the lights are e6000'd on and won't come off easily? Would electrical tape be enough for a low-stress area like eyes?
