First Fursuits are done!

She's finally done, after about a year of procastination construction. She's got flaws, but for a first suit I'm pretty proud of her. We went trick or treating last night and I wore her for 5+ hours, without any problems. A big thanks to all the help here on LJ, and especially to Matrices for her tutorials. They played a big part in the making.


Gavin (my girlfriend's fursona/fursuit) was made alongside Aya, and we actually finished his foam base in the summer of 2014, so he's taken a looooong time. We're really proud of him too! They look awesome as a pair. I know we'll probably get a few "Hey, those ears are huge for a wolf!" etc. but we're not really looking for opinions on character design. :) Exaggerated ears are fun! And wolves don't have red eyes, either. Every random bystander we passed on Halloween knew he was a wolf without a problem.

That said, our first suits are done. From here, we plan to continue and maybe one day take commissions. Our next projects will probably be with resin bases and new characters, so keep a look out!
