Was hoping someone might be able to give me a bit of advice on a matter I've been struggling with recently
I own a Janome HD1000 and this thing is a powerhouse. I've been able to sew through fur with no issue for quite some time. I'd been working on a bodysuit recently, gotten almost finished when a needle broke. No worries, I changed it and decided to take some time to clean the fibers out of the machine, which involved inscrewing the top panel.
Got everything put back into place and proceeded to break 5 needles in the span of 15 minutes
I got a new pack of heavy duty ones, and when I finally got the needles to stop breaking, the machine started skipping stitches. I can't figure out how it's doing this, but I've messed with the tension, the different stitches and a bunch of other things, with no luck. It's working just fine with regular cotten fabrics, but if I try anything thicker, if flips out and skips a bunch of stitches
Does anyone by any chance know what might be wrong with it?
