Some help on a few topics!

Been a while for eljay and Fursuit, but could use some assistance! I'm finally about to build my lion, and its a whole new level for me, having only built toony.

This will be a semi-realistic suit, featuring muscle padding, glass eyes and taxidermy eyes. Never used any of this before other than the jaws, and I want to be better-prepped this time.

For the muscle padding, I peeked through the memories but didn't get much info. It seems some will make a separate muscle suit to wear underneath the fur, while others sew the fur onto this under suit. What are pros/cons of either option?

As far as the eyes, Without having a head in front of me, I'm not sure what size (in MM) of half spheres I should get. What are average sizes folks use, especially in big cats? Also, how are you guys making the irises with these? I've seen some instances where people printed directly onto thin buckram. Is this a trick that any inkjet printer can do, and how susceptible to smearing/running is the final product? As for the tear-duct vision, are people painting their buckram black, or is it available someplace already black?

For those using taxidermy jaws, where are you getting them, and what size is good on a lion? I've used Van Dyke's, but their selection of sizes isn't impressive.
