Hi all,
Lately I've noticed a fur that seems to be getting more and more common, but I can't seem to find it for the life of me.
It looks very similar to Fabric.com's "Mink" (obligatory DONT ORDER FROM THEM warning...) seen here: https://www.fabric.com/buy/0344753/faux-fur-solid-mink-faux-fur-black Maybe slightly less shiny? The fur seems to stay pretty straight regardless of current use conditions.
At the last few cons/events, I have kept seeing what seems to be the same fur in a wide variety of colors in a lot of new suits I've seen. Usually in colors I have been DYING to find. I've seen reds, teals, purples, I even saw a rainbow suit recently that I'm certain was entirely this fur in different colors.
Does anyone know what this is called? Every search I've attempted with the word mink has been unsuccessful so far (Only finding blacks) and nothing else I have gotten swatches of seems to match quite right...
PS: Bonus points if someone knows if they might have it at Mendel's in SF... I haven't been able to go but am planning a trip soon.
