Hey guys, I need some advice. I'm making a looooooooong, almost 5' tail, for a commissioner. I made a flexible core to put in it so it can wag, but he wants the tail to stick almost straight out from the body. The core is made of a pool noodle cut into smaller sections with plastic/vinyl tubing at the center like a spine, it is covered in light fabric to prevent any stuff ing from 'clogging the works'. I thought I had a good design, but the tail just seems too heavy to stand straight out. As of right now, the base of the tail is straight. I'm not sure what some good options would be to help the tail stand straight out. Any suggestions would be great!!! Thank you!
