Best Type of balaclava to use?

Currently the heads I have been making are pure foam on the inside and I would like to start lining my heads for some people that have expressed interest in commissions! My question is what is the best type to use? I was looking through amazon and it seems nylon is the most prevalent type that is sold, but I have read that a lot of people use lycra. So suggestions?
