Strong neck base?

Greetings, my furry friends!

I recently mounted some enormous antlers onto a mask I'm making. It's already five pounds in its unfinished state, which means it could really do a number on my tiny neck when it's completed.

And so, I'm wondering if any of you have constructed a neck or shoulder base (or rather, brace) that would help take the brunt of the weight and make mask-wearing more manageable.
