First fursuit! [WIP]

Hope I'm allowed to make a WIP thread, haha.

This is my first fursuit construction. I am making "Commander Shepherd" for Denver Comic Con! She is a black and tan/silver GSD with blue eyes. [or grey, haven't decided yet] This will be a realistic build. I will be giving her a scar too and her ears will be tattered a little.
This is a partial! Head, tail, hand paws, and arm sleeves [for when I'm not wearing the hoodie]


Base: CanineHybrid K9 resin base
Jawset: basic taxidermy jawset
Eyes: DVC blank 3mm 3D
Features:
- Moving jaw
- Articulated tail [just so it wags instead of hanging down as dead weight]
- Whiskers!

I would like critique! But please be kind about it, this is my first build. Advice would be amazing and links to good realistic tutorials would be very appreciated.




Eyes I painted last night


Face profile:
I wanted the top teeth to be seen a little bit, so the jaw is open just a smidge and jowls are brought down. Lips will be made from apoxie sculpt. Still waiting on a tongue.
Eyes are just a placeholder. I'm still working on painting her blue ones correctly.






I just seem to have a problem with finding a decent tutorial on realistic ears.
