Clean Seams and practice!

I know this sounds kind of silly, but do other fursuit makers have somewhat sloppy-looking insides on their costumes in terms of sewing two pieces of fur together? Or do I just need to practice more?

I guess I'm just feeling a bit self conscious because this was my first time machine sewing a few things, such as a tail and some handpaws together w/o any handsewing. Handsewing has always worked wonders with me, however in order to prolong the chance that I might get carpel tunnel, I've been slowly moving my work over to machine sewing markings and things in, and handsewing only when working with intricate and detailed markings. I also figure it might save me some time in the long run when working with commissioners and having a set of deadlines to meet.

It's not that the outsides of my sewing look sloppy, by any means! Faux fur is wonderful for hiding things. It's just, the insides look a little wonky. xD It's not horrible, but it's not like I'm sewing in a continual line around the whole fursuit part. Some bits I had to change a little or go over again.

I figure, if I keep practicing, the inner sewing will start to look a little more clean. This was my first time working with sewing markings in by machine. I'm just curious to see if I'm not the only one, or maybe I'm still a machine sewing n00b. xD
