Hello, I've been browsing the fursuit livejournal for about a year now while making two fursuits, but I've only now made an account. I have a bunch of ideas for future suits and I'd like to know how to carry them out/if they're feasible.
Plushie/stuffed footpaws-

I have these big stompy/animalistic feet and I love the way they look, but the foamwork in them is falling apart since they were my first attempt at footpaws and were not well-constructed. Would it be possible to make a DTD of my feet to make a lining, sew that to the fur cover and stuf it to make plush feet? Has anyone attempted this before? Is it durable enough? Is there any way to attach parade/outdoor soles this way?
Plastisol pawpads/noses-
Silicone's really expensive and latex is such a common allergy that I was recently thinking about good alternatives to them for soft fursuit parts, when my mom brought up the Plasti-Goop used in Creepy Crawlers toy sets. I found that there's something similiar called Plastisol that's used to make soft fishing baits, and it's cheaper than silicone and not as allergenic as latex. Has anyone used it and would it be durable enough for pawpads or noses? Also, can plaster molds tolerate the temperatures used to cure the stuff? (about 350 degrees Farenheit/177 Celsius)
Free flipping/rotating ears-
I have a very strange character that I'm planning to make that has ears that freely swing/flip/rotate around their connection to the head as it moves. It's not something that should require electronics, all mechanical.
I have a feeling there's some simple way of doing this. If so, is there any way to do this with a foam-based head? (I'd rather not deal with resin for various reasons)
Seal/ Beaver fur-
How hard is this to use compared to MM fox? Could a beginner make an okay 3/4 suit with it?

How well do these furs airbrush? Is Bunny Shag sold anywhere else in anyother colors?
