Arm sleeves tips + tricks?

Hello! My interaction in the community here has been dormant for quite some time, but it feels as though I've finally run into a dilemma that I can ask about. Well, not necessarily a dilemma, but rather just in need of some clarity for how to keep fursuit armsleeves from falling down.

I mentioned to my mom the elastic method where you stretch out the elastic while sewing it to the fur, then it would grip onto your arm and would hold for the duration of fursuiting. However, she felt that if you did such a method, the armsleeves would cut off circulation. We have a pair of rubber gloves that go up past our elbows for when we clean out our 50 gallon fish tank, and they do feel tight after a while.

My question is just whether or not furusit arms tend to stay up on their own or not? I don't want to cut off circulation, however I don't want the person with the armsleeves to be given the burden of constantly pulling their arms up. (Keep in mind, the armsleeves I'm talking about only go up past your elbow or so, not up your shoulders.)

If anyone has any ideas, feel free to bounce them off here! I appreciate your guy's insight on this sort of thing. If this has already been discussed, I apologize in advance. From what I could tell, I did not see anything on this topic here in the forms.
