feet paw bottoms

I'm sure this has been answered before but can't seem to find it -- (plus everyone has their preferences) BUT what do you guys use for outdoor feet bottoms? I'm looking preferably for a thinner, most importantly non-slip material. If said material comes in different colors other than black, that would also be a plus -- although I intend to put my pads behind a layer or two to keep them from getting AS scuffed up. :)

Any suggestions would be appreciated! I have a few friends who has recommended materials to me, but they still seem to find their bottoms a bit slippery and I'd prefer to avoid that.
