DVC Blank and DVC Jawset: Fit Issues

I just received a Fox blank and a Fox jawset in the mail from DreamVision Creations, and I can't get the upper jawset to fit straight in the blank.

It slides in easily to a certain point, but it's completely crooked. If I try to push one side lower, it won't go; it feels like the entire blank is going to snap (or the jawset will) if I try to force it.

One side sticks out from the edge of the blank as well, but the "front" part of the jawset is touching just below the nosehole, so I can't really push it forward any further either.

Is there anything I can try to get the jawset to fit properly?



I don't have access to a heat gun, so I can't really warp the blank in order to force the jawset to fit.

And yes, I emailed DVC asking about this already, but was wondering if the community had any quick tips/tricks :}
