Is this fur okay to use?

Hi there. I'm looking to make my first fursuit and I was wondering if the fur I found is okay to use and about how much of it I would need

This is a reference for the character (yes I know the feet and hands don't look very good)

I'll be going to Hancock Fabrics tomorrow to see if they have it there.

I would like a shorter pile because I don't have any clippers at the moment but I think the fabric empire fur seems a bit nicer.
