So recently I tried to make my first fursuit head in a rush to try and complete it one day before a con. In order to ensure I didn't waste any time I decided to use a more unconventional material, eva foam aka floormats as the base since I have much more experience with it than foam. I personally love the material, it gives me the rigid look but still soft enough to bend if necessary. I'm also trying to go for the Japanese style fursuit head, so the nose isn't as defined.
Well here are some pictures before the furring it, the first 2 pics is still relatively early, before I spent more time shaping it with a heat gun, the third pic is closer to before I began the actual furring.

And here is after furring the head. I know it needs to be shaved down a bit more and the ears and eyes are done poorly. I think it looks pretty cute fuzzy. :P I also made changes to cut open the mouth instead to help with ventilation in the head.

Pic 2 (ears started flop down after the con, most likely because how I was storing it)
I'm tempted to continue using this material for the remake of my head in the future, but I would like to get your opinions if this is a good idea or not. Would also love to get some criticism on my first head if that's not too much to ask. Thanks a lot for reading.
