Hi all,
I'm about to start on my first fursuit and I was wondering if it's way easier to work with a pre-made resin base or if I'd be better off starting with cutting foam. It seems to me like the resin base is more expensive, but easier to work with, but I'm not sure.
Any tips/tricks for the first head?
Thanks!
[Edit: I do have a degree in technical theatre so I have some experience working with fabric and silicone and other things of the sort.
Also even if the start-up cost for resin is higher, I'd feel better knowing it would last longer (if it would).
Also also, I'm interested in weight/breathability, is one better than the other in your opinion on these notes?
Thanks again!
