Is there any salvaging this thing?

I am making a dog head to practice skills, and it was turning out pretty OK.  There were some symmetry issues and the foam work is a little generic, but hey, not bad for a second head.  But woe!  I am suffering the consequences of poor planning and not remembering "less is more."  The very first bit of airbrushing I did I wasn't very happy with, but rather than stepping back and planning what I was going to do next, I kept trying to "fix" it.  Ech... and then I put the black under the nose, and all I can think is "Hiter 'stache."  Then the eyebrows... oh god what have I done?  Is there any salvaging this head?  Should I just re-fur the face and learn my lesson?

The eyes are just barely pinned on which is why he looks hilariously wall-eyed from the front.  Don't even ask what breed I'm going for.  Golden retriever?  Yellow lab?  You decide!

EDIT: I read everyone's comments and made some changes.  I lightened the airbrushing around the muzzle and above the eyebrows and stuck in a temporary tongue and set of teeth.  I feel a lot better!  I was getting that thing where you stare at something so long you start to hate it, so everyone's kind words really helped me calm down, thanks guys :3  Do y'all think there's anything I should add, or should I quit while I'm ahead?  I need to do some touch-ups to the ears and maaaybe the eyebrows, but I'll play with it in photoshop before I load up my brush.
