Resin Head Help

Does anyone have a link to a tutorial on using a resin based head, perhaps?
I basically need to attach elastic, a fur hood/neck/ears and possibly how to cut.
And to see if I can sand down the raw edges(near my face)?

This mask is very basic and meant to look like a bone mask, so, not much fur will be added to it. Except for some here and there with blood and goop for visual affect.

Also, how do you repair large/long cracks that originate from the back of the cast and extend into the mask. Not enough to cause damage, but it does need to be patched up.
