Ok I'm making a head for the first time (am also going to commission one from headspyn). I've got two resin blanks at the moment and both are horses, one is cut I just need to hinge it, the other is uncut. I'm ordering a rtf from crystumes. I've read a few tutorials from matrices and in the memories but have a couple of questions.
1. What is the quality of the MM Orange Seal and MM Red Fox Cubby? I just bought some fur from DK Fabrics which is a very short pile black that is nice and shiny for the effect I want and will be used for the nose and mouth and around the eyes of my riding pony. The other blank will have shag fur more than likely. I need good rich liver chestnut or red chestnut coloured fur for my riding pony which I haven't had luck with other than MM. This is the colour I need but it doesn't have to mmatch EXACTLY it just needs to be similar:

2. I've read somewhere you shouldn't glue fur to a resin base and to foam it first. I only need to foam it in a few places(not sure on what glue to use for that either as all the tutorials are for foam heads not foaming resin blanks) Would it be bad to glue the fur to the resin after sewing the seams? Also I'm not sure what kind of glue to use but I've read hot glue is ok for resin.
3. I'm intending to make a full suit later on, for the head that I'm making now. Would I need to attach the head or leave as is with the neck fur?
4. One blank will need a jawset. I've had no luck in finding a good horse jawset anywhere. Can anyone help me with this? What about installation?
5. What in the world could I make horse ears from? Just carved foam? I was wondering how to attach them, whether I could make them moveable for a bit more expression!
6. One of my horses has two sets of horns. How would you install horns I.e removable or fixed?
7. Teeth! My demon four horn horsey has huge canines. Best sculpey for teeth? I'd need to attach them to the jawset. Or if I can't get a decent one maybe make a jawset myself but I've never casted anything before.
I'm pretty much ok with other stuff like taping patterns, sewing seams, hinging, and installing eyes.
