I read as much as I could about this before making the tail and after attending several meets and a convention where I had it sit atop a messenger bag on my side (dragged around for a bit too), but now I'm really in a dilemma.
My fursuit tail is 5 feet long. I understand that having a tail that long isn't necessary, etc. but I really like it a lot. However, it is literally becoming a drag. Here's a photo of it:

Is there really anything I can do? I'd like to see if there is an easier alternative to having it just drag along, or if I have to shrink it. Is there possibly a way to make it pose able or sit up on my back? Thanks!
