So, I've made a few posts on here trying to figure out the best way to clean my fursuit head without submerging the head in water. I'm fairly certain the integrity of the head could -probably- hold up but that's just something I'm not willing to risk at this point. Really, I'm just trying to get her white markings looking as bright as possible because I'm getting a bodysuit soon and she's a fairly old partial and I don't want her face looking way grungy in comparison. Again, she's by no means filthy (I try my best to take very good care of her) but age and outings will eventually take their toll.
Anyway, someone recommended this product as a no-rinse surface cleaner which is called Clorox Oxi Magic ... and I really liked the before and after results. My only concern is she mentioned rubbing it in very hard with a cloth, and I'm concerned about rubbing off fur or something like that. Am I being too cautious about this? Plus, (obviously I'm going to be careful and take extra care around the eye and mouth area of the head) I'm just worried as to whether or not a head would be too delicate for a product like this.
If anyone has used this before I'd love to hear what you think, or if anyone has used this on a fursuit head. I'd also like to mention that I've tried Folex and while it did help some...it didn't really achieve the results I'm looking for. The bottoms of her feet (which are also white and I tried cleaning with Folex as well) and parts of her face still look a bit dirty.
Any other products/tips/suggestions would be very much appreciated!
