While Im working on my second and soon third fursuit head. (Jolteon and Umbreon duo with my friend) I was considering once I get more practice, I'll open up commissions. Around next summer. Maybe. If my work is commission-worthy. But brushing that aside, I have some questions to ask.they shouldn't be hard to ask to be honest.
When making digigrade legs with removable padding, what do you use for the padding or how to do you do it where it's removable?
(Ok this is actually might be common sense but I want to be sure.)
if you're making a mask for someone that you physically can't meet and get head measurements (like most customers) what kinds of measurements do you need? Just the measurement around the head all around?
And once you get your head measurement and you've made/gotten your balaclava, and want to start working on the base itself. Do you just measure out that measurement on the foam, cut it and glue into the balaclava? For example, if the customers head was 23", you measure out 23" on the foam and glue that onto the balaclava and it'll fit them? Or should you add an extra half inch to be sure?
