Faux fur help for Plushie

Hey there guys I'm wondering if someone can help me identify what kind of fabric/fur this is.
I'm looking into making a plushie and LOVE the fabric that my Disney Bolt plush is made of.

I'm thinking it's probably minky, I just wanted to double check.

The fabric/fur is very, very soft and I believe the shorter areas are just the same stuff but shaved down slightly?


Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
