Defining Fursuit Feet Paw Toes

I've heard trimming, I've heard fishing twine. My toes dont go that far back (though they do a little) and i doubt fishing twin would keep the long strands defined. Short of shaving the WHOLE toe and not just in between, are there any other ways to define them? Im thinking I didnt make the foam toes big enough/stand out enough, but quite honestly I didnt want uber toony feet.
