EDIT: The LJ cut isnt working for me, even though I do it correctly. Could someone help me? *sigh* I'm just gonna use two photos and resize them small.
Well, the tails section of the tails memories don't say anything about this so I think it'll be okay to ask. But how exactly are you supposed to see the BASE of a bunny tail. I saw this diagram where you cut out a circle, but I don't think it's that necessary? Many bunny tails I have seen didn't seem to have a circle like base, such as this.

So could I just sew my tail up normally? It's only the base, where you attach the elastic that isn't sewn up. And also what is that square of fabric that the elastic is attached to?
