Resin beak blobbing and bad and eugh! HELP ME. IMA CRY.

So incredibly upset.

After spending 5 hours painting shading etc. on my fursuits beak, I go to the local craft shop. I ask them what would be good to seal it + give it a realistic shine. They give me a jar of what I now know is a canvas primer.

All my paint gooed up, and melted off, leaving lumps and massive patches of nothing, and it all went into the fur. It's practically ruined..

What should I do?

Inhindsight, I believe I was sold an entirely incorrect product:

Product is Derivan Matisse Acrylic Painting Medium (Thin Viscosity Binder)

Pure acrylic binder is used in formulating Matisse and acts as the principal paint diluent when not using water. Acrylic painting medium with it's low sheen and good adhesion make it a suitable transparent primer or surface conditioner for canvas, paper or board. Use acrylic painting medium to increase binding capacity when reducing paint with water. Use 1:1 with water.

I'm currently on the phone with the manafacturer to discuss whether it was me, or Riot art which made the mistake.

How can I fix this?
