Several days of messing with this silly thing and I'm at a dead loss. About to fork over money to insure I can finish my costumes on time. However, I don't have that much money I REALLY want to fork over, but I don't know what else to do.
I know people that own sewing machines know how they work and they can fix them .I just don't have anybody that could give me help for free. I'm poor and I'm getting more and more into doing things myself. I can't afford nor get the help I need for some things with this hobby.
Anywho, my machine isn't feeding the fabric under the foot right, thus, the bottom thread gets stabbed a bajillion times in ONE place, jamming the machine. I thought it was my tension. But, I noticed the machine isn't pulling on the fabric to go under the foot. What the hell is going on? The teeth under foot move, but its not pulling the fabric back under the foot so it can actually make a straight line so the thread has someplace to go. This machine was in storage for a month, I didn't touch a dang thing on it before I packed up. I get it out of its box several days ago, since it was in storage, I plug it in, go to use it and it does this! When it was working fine.
Any advice on how I can fix that myself? I do not have the money to take it to get it fixed and I know this happens more than ONCE for anyone that owns a machine. I figured I could look up tutorials on how to fix sewing machines in order to fix mine, but I don't know how long that's going to take to find my make and model. I don't know. I need to be sewing costumes, not spending a whole week trying to fix my machine.
Any clue on what's going on here? Its sometimes funny with such a complicated machine, how it can be something simple. If it is I'm going to scream, lol.
